  • All bookings
    will be confirmed by Words Wanted prior to attending an appointment. Bookings should be arranged earlier than 24 hours ahead if possible to increase the likelihood of your preferred timeslot being available..

  • Business hours
    are between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. All on-site appointments and all communications will take place within these hours unless a prior arrangement has been made.

  • After-hours and Saturday appointments
    may be arranged with a minimum of 24 hours notice, however these bookings may not be guaranteed and an alternative appointment time may need to be arranged. A 20% surcharge will apply for Saturday and after hours appointments.

  • Turnaround times
    Words Wanted works to a strict deadline deliver a first draft of the copy within 24 hours of the appointment time. In very rare, exceptional circumstances where this is not possible, the client will be notified as soon as possible and an ETA provided.

  • Travel surcharges
    Words Wanted deals mainly with properties within a 20km radius of Sydney CBD. Beyond this, a travel surcharge may apply, or a request to have the copy supplied site unseen can be arranged where suitable.

  • Site unseen copy
    Copy can be supplied without an on-site visit for a reduced fee specified in Words Wanted’s list of copywriting packages. If a site unseen package is booked, Words Wanted will endeavour to deliver the completed draft within 24 hours of the photos and/or floorplan being supplied by the client for reference purposes. Words Wanted requests that either the agent or vendor is available for a brief phone conversation on the same day the photos and floorplan are supplied.

  • Amendments
    Minor corrections and adjustments to the copy (within reason) are included in the package fee. Amendments will be made and delivered to the client in the soonest possible timeframe. For extensive changes or rewrites, an additional fee may be charged to the client.

  • Cancellations
    On-site bookings may be cancelled free of charge up to 1 hour before the appointed time, or up to 2 hours for properties outside the 20km radius. Cancellations made outside this period will incur a cancellation fee of $110 GST inclusive.

  • Archiving
    Words Wanted will archive all documents and communications for 6 months, during which time the client may request an e-mail copy.

  • Payment
    must be made in accordance with the terms set out on the invoice.

  • Copyright
    All work remains the intellectual property of Words Wanted until full payment of fees is received. Words Wanted reserves the right to use selected excerpts for marketing purposes unless asked to refrain from doing so by prior agreement.

  • Client satisfaction
    Copywriting is a subjective art, and often multiple parties are involved with the approval of a project. Clients are free to edit any copy supplied of their own accord, but are encouraged to request more significant amendments in order to maintain a consistent standard of work.

    If for some reason, after any requested amendments have been made, you are still unhappy with the product and service provided, I request that you make contact as soon as possible to resolve the situation. If, after reasonable discussion and clear confirmation of your requirements, you are still not happy with the final submission, a full or partial refund (depending on travel expenses incurred) may be offered. If any recognisable part of the wording supplied to you is published or utilised in any way, the full fee will be payable.
